Last weekend, I went to see Snow White and the Huntsman with my dad for father's day. At first I didn't want to go see the movie, but I sat through it and decided why not write up a review?

Firstly let me say that I had mixed thoughts about the casting. That twilight girl is not exactly the best actress. But I do love both Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron. Their performances were wonderful, even though I had to learn to tolerate the constant blinking, faltering accent, and twitchiness of the lead. Other than the lead, I felt the acting was pretty okay.

I got to thinking the other day about Korra ships, and I started to wonder if anyone who actually likes Mako likes him for his personality. Like, would Mako be able to get away with all his jerkbending if he looked like his younger brother? Seriously?

Sooooo I figured it would be fun to edit them in each other's bodies. So now Bolin looks like Mako, and Mako looks like Bolin, with some minor differences. And yes people I know the scarf's color wouldn't change just because of the person wearing it. Just let me have my fun.

So tell me in the comments. Who do you ship in the original universe? In one where Mako and Bolin switch appearances, does that ship change at all?

**EDIT** Looks like most people who are actually commenting are Borra shippers from the start. Come now, Makkorians, afraid of being judged?

I've always thought Bolin was the cute one! Even so, I'd ship Borra because they're so obviously perfect for each other! And the date night burping contest proved it!

How I am suppose to know if I would still ship the same ship if the two brothers switched looks?
I decided to wait for something in the show first to get me to go, 'I ship it.'
Before the show started, my only opinion of MaKorra was 'meh, it would be nice if it happens.' I didn't really have any comments on Borra. I just waited until the show started before I made judgements on the characters.

Don't care if I sound shallow but... If Bolin's personality was in Mako's body. He'd be the perfect guy!
On looks alone, Mako wins by a land slide. Anyone denying that either has very odd taste in looks or is trying to sound as deep as the abyss..... But as soon as they open there mouths, Mako's over ally broody, asshole, boring personality literally becomes a HUGE turn off. And when you see Bolin's personality, how fun, humorous, sensitive,= and caring he is, THEN you find his looks cute and attractive! When the trailer came out I was all for Mako and the minute I saw Bolin I thought "Oh great... a tag alone..." Which really i wasn't that far off! Whether people like it or not. HUMANS JUDGE AND HUMANS ARE BIOLOGICALLY DESIGNED TO PICK SOMEONE ATTRACTIVE OVER SOMEONE AVERAGE OR UGLY. point, period.
All though personality wise didn't anyone else noticed towards the end Bolin's personality... Changed?
I mean he went from a fun, chill funny guy to almost annoying. like he would say the most unhumourous things at the wrong time. It's sad really he had a lot of potential to be a complex character, but as soon as Mako and Korra kissed for the first time he became just a funny man fan service.
NOT HATING! Ok!!! I like Bolin I do! I just don't like how they wrote his character after the Borra date! And yeah, hate Mako and not sorry for it. Yes, he lost his parents and all that angst. But guess what? Bolin lost his parents that day also, I don't see him all broody and being a jackass. Yes, Mako being older had to take on more responsibility but either way. It doesn't excuse him acting like a jerk the entire season.
